Di Matteo in dark over Chelsea future

Air Jordan Retro Shoes On SaleRoberto Di Matteo has admitted he has no plans to meet with the Chelsea hierarchy to discuss his future.
The interim first-team coach oversaw his side's final day Premier League victory over Blackburn Rovers in what could be his last game in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Di Matteo will lead the club into their meeting with Bayern Munich in the Champions League final at the Allianz Arena on May 19th.
Club officials have always maintained they will not decide on a permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas until after the end of the season but Di Matteo does not believe his chances of landing the job hinge on the outcome of the Bayern
Asked if he thought that success or failure in Munich would influence the decision, he said: "I don't think so. But I have no problem with it."
And admitting no firm arrangements had been made to talk about the club's next move, he added: "My wife has booked our holidays. And I am looking forward to it. There are mobile phones. They work everywhere these days."Save on Nike Women's Running Shoes
While the manager's position remains unresolved, Di Matteo admitted the final day of the season had underlined his connection with the club he once played for.
"It's been great. We have had a very intense nine weeks together and it has been fantastic and we are all looking forward to next Saturday as well," he said.
"It's been very emotional because I feel very responsible with this club because I have played here and been part of it so it's been a nice day."Fusion Shoes Jordan Sale
Didier Drogba's future also remains unresolved, with the striker so far yet to agree a new deal.
Drogba has so far rejected the club's offer of a one-year contract and Di Matteo said: "I don't know if it's going to be his last game here. I think that's something the club will deal with, with the player. But I'm sure we will know whatever it is."Shopping Results for Kids Jordan Shoes
Chelsea rounded off their league campaign with a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from John Terry and Raul Meireles, who are both suspended for the Champions League final.
Florent Malouda was withdrawn in the first half with hamstring injury and Di Matteo said: "We took him off as a precaution. He has a little tight hamstring but hopefully he will recover as soon as possible.
"It was a risk to play whoever was going to play today so we wanted to get through without any injuries and more or less we did both."
Gary Cahill and David Luiz were again missing with hamstring injuries and Di Matteo admitted it could get to the day of the final before he knows whether either centre-back can face Bayern.
He said: "They are getting better day by day. We are going to try and push them from tomorrow. Probably it will get to the day of the game.
"We are going to try and push them this week in training and see how far we can push them. But everyone will come to Munich anyway."
Ayegbeni Yakubu scored Blackburn's consolation and manager Steve kean will fly out to India this week to meet Venky's, the club owners, and review a season that ended in relegation.
Kean, who remains confident he will keep his job, said: "We will continue the discussions we have had previously.
"Most of the young players are under contract and we will look to build on that. It will be difficult to keep those out of contract and David Hoilett has rejected the offer of a new contract.
"He will go and there are clubs from England and abroad looking at him.
"I can understand the frustration of the supporters but there have been plenty of clubs who have been forced to take one step back to take two steps forward."

Federer banishes clay blues to win Madrid Open

Nike Air Jordan 6MADRID (Reuters) - Roger Federer left a lasting impression on the Madrid Open's controversial blue claycourt when the Swiss maestro ground out a thrilling 3-6 7-5 7-5 victory over Czech Tomas Berdych to match Rafa Nadal's record of 20 Masters titles on Sunday.
Spaniard Nadal, who crashed out in the third round and will lose his number two ranking to his great rival, was one of the most vocal opponents of the new surface, which he said was dangerously slippery.
Federer, however, proved better able to adapt to the testing conditions and secured his fourth title of the season, and the 74th of his illustrious career, after edging a gripping final at the futuristic Magic Box arena.
"It feels amazing," Federer told spectators sweltering in the Madrid heat inside the Manolo Santana show court as his wife and twin daughters looked on.
"Look, it's been a tough tournament and tough to move but you just go on with it and try to make the best out of it," added the 30-year-old.
"There was some good tennis and there was some bad tennis as well, you see that in all the tournaments, but I thought the level of play under the circumstances was very good."
Federer came into the event following a six-week rest and is looking in ominous form as the world's top players prepare for the French Open starting in Paris later this month.
The 2009 Roland Garros champion had already won titles this year in Rotterdam, Dubai and Indian Wells and has only lost three times since falling to Djokovic in the U.S. Open semi finals last September.
"It's obviously surprising to me to come back and win a title right away," Federer told a news conference, adding that he would take a decision on whether to play in Rome this week in a couple of days.
"I was worried about getting through the first one," said the Swiss, who had to come from a set down to beat fast-rising Canadian Milos Raonic in the second round.
"But it doesn't take much to get my confidence back especially at this point having played so well for the last nine months."

Czech sixth seed Berdych, who ended Federer's dream of Olympic gold in Athens in 2004 and knocked him out of Wimbledon in the quarter-finals two years ago, made the stronger start.
Some accurate serving and powerfully-struck ground strokes, as well as a break of his opponent's serve in the second game, were enough to settle an otherwise desperately tight first set.Womens Nike Air Shoes
The crowd, including American actor Will Smith, tried their best to lift the hugely-popular Federer, champion in 2006 and 2009, and he responded with two breaks in the second set that helped him level the match.
A couple of double faults from Berdych, who was bidding for a second career Masters triumph, put Federer 5-3 ahead in the decider but the 16-times grand slam champion faltered when serving for the match.
With Berdych needing to hold to stay in contention at 6-5 down and tension mounting, Federer conjured another break, converting his fourth match point when the world number seven netted a forehand.
The statistics show how evenly matched the pair were, with Federer hitting 44 winners to Berdych's 42 and the Czech making 27 unforced errors to Federer's 30. The Swiss won 103 points to his opponent's 101.
"On one side right now I'm upset that I lost the final but in a couple of hours I am going to see it in the positive way that I made a great week and beat a lot of good guys," Berdych told a news conference.
"It was just about a few points and I think Roger's experience won through today.
"One thing I am sad that I was not able to beat him but the other one is that losing to him is something jordan shoes
"He just showed what a great champion he is that playing in the conditions that were here he was able to win the title."jordan shoes for sale
Nadal and world number one Novak Djokovic have both threatened not to return next year unless the traditional red dirt used at most other clay events is reinstated.
Organisers argue that the blue courts make it easier for television viewers to follow the yellow balls but the players' complaints may prompt the ATP, the governing body of men's tennis, to switch back to red clay next year.

Romney campaign ad touts steel mill boosted by Bain investment

Air Jordan Retro Shoes On SaleJust hours after President Barack Obama's re-election campaign tied Mitt Romney to the bankruptcy of a Missouri steel company, the Romney campaign is out with its own Web video highlighting a steel company it says Romney helped save.
The video, entitled "American Dream," zeroes in on Steel Dynamics Inc., an Indiana company that Bain Capital invested in when Romney worked at the venture capital firm.
The video features Steel Dynamics employees talking about the company's origins and current success—with an unidentified man, speaking in a voice-over, suggesting it wouldn't be possible had Romney and his "private sector leadership team" not gotten involved.
"SDI almost never got started," the ad says. "When others shied away, Mitt Romney's private sector leadership team stepped in."
Notably, the minute-long ad never mentions Bain, Romney's former employer, by name. And it also doesn't bring up the $37 million in government subsidies the company received that contributed to its survival.
